Product Description
The pressure accumulator tank is used in a constant pressure water system with Seaflo or other brand pressure pumps. It smooths fluctuations in pressure due to pump cycling or other fixtures being opened or closed. When installed correctly, with the pressure in the tank pre-set at 5psi below the pressure your pump switches on at, it will reduce the frequency of pump cycling. These can also be used as expansion tanks in a hot water system to absorb the expansion of water as it heats up and in chilled water systems to maintain pressure as the circulating loop temperature varies.
