Note that this dry bilge system is not intended as a replacement for a conventional bilge pump; it’s meant to supplement your standard bilge and remove low volumes of remaining water. Traditional bilge pumps can leave at last ¾” of water in your bilge at all times — leading to mold, mildew, mustiness, odors and potential damage to hull integrity. The SEAFLOW 12V dry bilge system not only eliminates this problem but also greatly increases the lifetime of your regular bilge pump and float switch system by reducing their use.
