Designed for cleaning heat transfer systems while gentle on, equipment, the environment, and people. Hammerhead Marine Descaler may be used on board vessels or in the shop to dissolve rock-like scale including barnacles, zebra mussels, calcium, lime and all types of mineral deposits from marine heat transfer equipment, engine water jackets and ancillary equipment. This is the Super Concentrated version of Hammerhead Marine Descaler. It can be diluted up to 10 to 1 and still be extremely effective.

Scale buildup is the number one reason water cooled systems malfunction. Hammerhead Marine Descaler is designed to bind with calcium molecules found in scale. By binding only with calcium, remaining minerals and deposits held by the calcium are released to rinse free without harm to equipment. Hammerhead Marine Descaler does not oxidize, corrode or attack metals found in water systems. When used as directed, it is safe for copper, rubber, gasket materials, steel, iron glass and various materials used in conventional heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators and other water operated equipment.

We've tested the Hammerhead Super Concentrate Descaler within our VacuFlush system and have found it to be safe for all components including rubber and plastic parts. In all cases the waste and scale that was built up inside the lines and tanks was broken down. Using up to 10 to 1 water to concentrate we've found the longer it sits the better it works.
